I say don't begrudge yourself some of your mementos and whatever things will help to make you feel at home. <BR/><BR/>No matter how well prepared you are (and you two seem very well prepared!), I think that you will suffer at least a little culture shock. For me it was comforting to have some of "my stuff" around. Not all of it, of course.
