Woo-hoo!

Check it out! We had a fabulous garage sale Saturday - in spite of the almost torrential rain.

It was a crazy day. Since we are really motivated to get rid of stuff we priced everything quite low, and stuff flew out of here! It shocked both of us that we made $1,900! Crazy!

We even were able to give away a bunch of rabbit cages in various states of disrepair, two broken lawnmowers, and old fence posts. I'm planning on taking the things that didn't sell to Goodwill this week.

We were so happy about having an empty garage and basement room that we pretty much didn't stop laughing all night. We sure met a lot of characters!

Thankfully it is over now, and I have the handyman and the landscapers here this morning working on the next phase of the projects around here. Wouldn't you know it...it is sunny and nice today!

WOW - I'm having my next garage sale at your house - We usually work for a week and make about $300.00. Congratulations.

We are so happy to have made significant headway in moving towards our new life.

I was amazed how easy it was to let things go. I believe I am really learning a new way of life that is going to be a lot more fun.

Juan, I believe the reason we made so much is that we sold so many big things that if we were just relocating in the US we would have kept...exercise equipment, couches, kitchen things, antique linens, cd's, aquarium, etc.

We are SO READY for our next step!

Yay! Congratulations. Yard sales are insane. People will buy random bags of cables if you price them right...not to mention, sometimes meeting your neighbors is less pleasant than you had hoped. :)
