Household chores

When you live in a warm climate like Mazatlán, sandals are the order of the day. I think I have worn shoes maybe five times in the last seven months!

The streets are dusty and the dust and dirt gets everywhere, including your sandals!

So, when I get into the shower in the morning, most days I have a sandal scrubbing session before I actually shower myself! I have a scrub brush waiting for that purpose, and shampoo does a good job getting them clean.

It's just one of the many things I had never thought about before we moved here.

Great tip! With the dust blowing up here in the mountains now til the rainy season hits......I actually have on my "to do" list to clean sandals tomorrow - I'll try your way.......

I do that too! Well, I mainly just throw my dirty Crocs in the shower and by the time I'm done washing my hair they are pretty clean. I hadn't thought about keeping a brush in there for shoes, that's a good idea.

What a coincidence: I finally decided this morning to shower with my Crocs ON and the drain plug in my rig closed up. They got clean with just a little scrubbing.

Showering this morning with myself and my sandals was an altogether great "multi-tasking" experience!
Thanks again for the tip.......
