Our Last Snowy Winter

This is a picture of the front piece of our property. Kind of looks like a Christmas card, doesn't it?

We've had snow on the ground for the last week, and another snowstorm hit this morning. Paul is working from home...the weatherman says it will turn to rain by this afternoon. We really hope it does since we have to pick up Paul's daughter at the airport this afternoon. It hardly seems possible that we could be hoping for rain!

Both Paul and I have lived in the Northwest most of our adult lives and we can never remember a winter like this. We have had either torrential rain, windstorms where we lost power for days, or snow.

All of you down in Mexico can smile to yourselves that you're missing this kind of mess! The occasional volcanic eruption or hurricane are the kind of weather problems I will gladly trade for this cold!

YUCK!!!! I do NOT miss that.
It has been cold here too. Roy went and bought a little electric heater on Monday. Yesterday morning it was only 15 Celsuis (59 F.) in the apt. and this morning it is 13(55 F.) Celsuis. Cold for us. Enjoy your last winter with snow. LOL

Hi Jorge here from Queretaro, thanks yo liked my blog, I hope you like Queretaro, by the way there are tons of must see thing in my city, thankfully all are really close to each other, Queretaro is a truly mexican city big enough to have everything and small enough to be pretty, safe and prosper.

You should visit all spots in Historic Downtown, did you know that many of the most important events in Mexico took place in Queretaro, Queretaro is like Philadelphia and Boston, in historic comparison.
